Totnes Street Pastors

Street Pastors is an inter-denominational Church response to urban problems, engaging with people on the streets to care, listen and dialogue. Trained in a wide range of physical and emotional care disciplines.

There are now over 250 teams around the UK and in areas where teams have been working we have seen some remarkable results, including drops in crime.

We operate in partnership with Police, Council and other statutory agencies and offer an independent, non-judgemental approach to peoples' problems.

Totnes Street Pastors work together with 7 churches in our town. Our Base is at the Friends Meeting House on the Plains in Totnes. We are out on the streets from 10pm – 2am every Friday. We listen, care and help and have lots of chats with our wonderful young people and the lollipops that we offer to help keep the affects of alcohol at bay are very popular!
