Seachange (formerly Budleigh Hub) is bringing together local residents, the NHS, the voluntary, statutory and business sectors under a common purpose - to improve the quality of health and wellbeing for approx 48,500 people in the Woodbury, Exmouth and Budleigh (WEB) areas, including all the local villages and hamlets.
We provide health and wellbeing support through fitness in our gym, social activities such as board games and 'knit & natter', holistic therapies, mental health guidance, physiotherapy via the NHS, art therapies, holistic therapy, yoga, NHS outpatient services, private room hire and conference facilities with hospitality options.
We support babies and children from early years in Jurassic nursery through to older people in our activity Club, memory cafe and through cognitive stimulation therapy.
Come and eat in the Launchpad café when visiting us or just make a special visit for their delicious specials menu.
The Seachange programme of activities, classes and support run from its base in Budleigh, East Devon. However, its reach extends throughout Woodbury, Exmouth and surrounding villages.
Our programme of events are all designed to increase social cohesiveness and reduce isolation, and loneliness whilst improving the health and happiness of our community.
We are funded through donations and grants from the public and charitable sector.
How can I get some support?
It couldn’t be easier, simply:
Pop into Seachange on East Budleigh Road in Budleigh Salterton. If you need transport, just call 01395 446896 and we’ll arrange it; or call us and we can talk through what options might be helpful for you; or your GP or health professional might prescribe a visit to the Hub. Social Services can recommend you to us as well.
