Beer Village Heritage

Run entirely by volunteers, we are the local heritage society. Our interests include all aspects of life in and around the village of Beer, past and present, including History, Wildlife and Ecology, Conservation, and Geology.

We own and operate the "Fine Foundation Centre", our local heritage centre at the foot of Sea Hill, which tells the stories of the village and its place on the World Heritage Site and in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We organise educational activities for the public, schools, and other groups.

Our motto is "Working to bring our history to life and to conserve our environment for future generations".
