Devon Deaf Children's Society - Exeter and South

As a society for deaf children we aim to provide all our family members with emotional support, socialisation for the whole family, inclusion and information.

Children who are deaf can often have problems with socialising with their hearing peers. We want to provide them with a rich and fun environment where they can feel able to communicate and play in whichever way they wish.

As a society we want to raise awareness to the general public about deafness and how it can affect our children and their families, and we hope to do this through our general fundraising events.

Devon County Council uses an SEND flag to list services which define themselves as suitable for children and young people with SEND. These are part of Devon's SEND Local Offer. We recommend that you contact the service provider to make sure the service is suitable for your child or young person.
