CEDA - Saturday and Holiday Club
UPDATE Covid -19: We have reopened a Saturday and Holiday clubs from 10:00 - 3:00. However we are still running a pared back service to try and ensure we can support everyone safely.
There is currently a waiting list for Saturdays and Holiday clubs. Please get in contact if you require more information
You can meet old friends, make new friends and have lots of fun at CEDA's Ofsted registered clubs for children with disabilities. There are lots of things to do in the building and lots of trips out to places like amusement parks, the beach, swimming, sports activities and much, much more.
We run our holiday club Monday to Friday in the school holidays (excluding bank holidays). We offer a range of different activities for our young people both in the centre and out in the community.
Our Saturday club runs every Saturday during term time. Just like our holiday clubs we plan activities and trips both at the centre and out in the community ensuring that there’s a focus on socialisation, fun and opportunities to try new and creative activities.
In the youth service we offer a wide variety of trips and activites both in our centre and out in the community. Our aim is to provide fun, inclusive and tailored activities that all our service users can enjoy. Our centre is fully accessible and specifically designed to allow our service users to explore and roam. We have a purpose built soft play room with a variety of soft shapes to encourage creative play and safe risk taking. Our main room is open plan and has a kitchen, arts and crafts equipment, quiet spaces and a variety of toys and games that can be easily accessed.
The trips out offer opportunities to help integrate our service users into the community and promote social interactions between each other. We go to a variety of places including parks, beaches, woods, local attractions and swimming pools. Groups are selected according to likes and friendships, as opposed to age and ability. At CEDA we believe in being child-led, and regular consultations and feedback from the young people are taken into account when selecting trips. We ensure trips are always fully inclusive and accessible to all.
We ask you what you would like to do or where you would like to go and try to make sure this can happen.
