Dementia Friendly Parishes around the Yealm

We are a community project in the five parishes of Wembury, Brixton , Yealmpton, Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo and Holbeton committed to;

  • Supporting, improving and changing the lives of those living with dementia and their families.
  • Enabling people to remain active and involved in community life.
  • Working alongside local groups and organisations to develop and support inclusive dementia friendly activities.
  • Raising¬† awareness and understanding of dementia both locally and nationally
  • Remaining with the family throughout their journey.
