Advance Support and Enabling Service

We work with local landlords and provide shared housing, support, enabling and care to people with learning disabilities or developmental delay who live in Exeter. We also provide for people who live in their own flat or house and require support.

We also support people who are leaving Care and require support age 18 years or above.

Our staff ensure people can and do reach their maximum potential. We promote and support independence and can enable you with Assistive technology to ensure that you can live as independently as you can and so that you feel safe. We will work with and alongside you all the way and at your pace.

We can support you to manage your money, budget, find work, cook and eat a healthy diet and to find ways to live a healthy lifestyle, join local clubs and groups and join in with your local community.

Advance are a CQC registered provider and can provide for individuals personal care needs, and support people with medical concerns. We can be found on CQQ inspection reports, under Advance support and enabling services and in the location box type Dawlish, since this is where our office is.

We do not currently provide services for people in Dawlish. We also have a level access Bungalow in Exmouth for older people with learning disabilities who also require around the clock support.

Some of our supported living services have a sleeping in member of staff who can ensure people are safe at night.

Please call 01392 314747 or email us.

Devon County Council uses a SEND flag to list services which define themselves as suitable for children and young people with SEND. These are part of Devon's SEND Local Offer. We recommend that you contact the service provider to make sure the service is suitable for your child or young person.
