Compass Resolution Family Mediation provide a service for couples in the Barnstaple area who have made the decision to separate or who are having contact difficulties with their children.  Our mediators can offer you a wealth of experience and are highly skilled at supporting couples to negotiate the terms of their separation in a calm, safe and impartial environment. You may need help with issues such as:  

  • Living and contact arrangements for the children.
  • Resolving issues concerning the family home and any other assets or debts.
  • Resolving issues concerning housing income and pensions.
  • Child contact issues after you have separated including grandparents.

Our initial consultation is free and if you eligible for legal aid there will be no cost to you for our services. All of our family trained mediators have specialist backgrounds including; pensions & finance, law, child welfare and business so you can rest assured that we will match the right mediator to your particular circumstances.

Mediation can be an effective alternative to expensive lengthy and stressful court proceedings. It can improve communication, reduce ongoing conflict and help you move forward with your lives.
