Abbeyfield Honiton: Trustees and Volunteers required

Trustees required

Professional people required to serve as volunteer trustees for the society. Responsibilities include marketing, business decision making, financial management, etc

The committee meets 1 x bi-annually (currently via zoom) to discuss and plan for the future.  Friendly team, expenses paid

Volunteers wanted

We offer a wide range of activities and roles for those looking to volunteer with elderly people. Our "house committee" help to fundraise, provide an activities programme and befriending service to the residents. They organize trips out, activities within the home and the local community. The volunteers are great promotors for the house and work hard at making sure we are well known in the local area.

The Executive committee is a small team of local professionals who meet (currently virtually) to discuss the business side of the house, making decisions about how it is run, planning for the future and general well being of the charity. The team are currently looking for new members and would welcome someone with a health/social background.
