Honiton Voluntary Car Scheme

The Voluntary Car Service provides transport to medical appointments for people who are unable to use public transport or where public transport is not available. This is a door-to-door service with no worries about parking!

Destinations include Honiton surgery and hospital, Axminster hospital, Exeter (RD&E, Heavitree and Exeter Mobility), Dorchester and Taunton hospitals, plus local chiropodist, dentist and opticians appointments.

Service open to the general public and referrals accepted from Social Workers, G.P's, Health Visitors and Community Nurses.

Part of TRIP Community Transport Association.

Community Transport entries with the “DCC mark”:

All Voluntary Car Schemes with the DCC mark operate with drivers who are DBS checked at the enhanced level.

Community Transport Groups and Associations which operate a Ring & Ride scheme with the DCC mark, meet DCC standard terms and conditions.
