CEDA (Community, Equality, Disability Action)
Covid -19 Update: Our clubs have reopened from 7th September, however there are limited spaces currently due to the current covid restrictions. For more information please contact us.
CEDA - Your Choice, Your Say, Your Way - We work for disabled adults and children in ways which make sense for them, always keeping the individual at the centre of the service. We listen, learn and act, to enable each person to be who they want to be, as visible and valuable members of the community.
The emphasis throughout our services is on promoting independence and personal development whilst working towards goals and outcomes and having fun!
We offer:
One to one enabling in the community to support people to do whatever they choose - shopping, leisure activities, sports, learning new skills.... whatever works for them.
Short breaks around the country on a one to one basis - going wherever the person wants to go with support staff they choose. Weekends to London, Butlins, Calvert Trust and York have all been popular.
The Adult Activity Hub provides learning and social opportunities to disabled adults throughout the day with different sessions available each day. The programme of activities are designed and chosen by the users.
The Youth Service offers a holiday club, after school club and Saturday club to children and young people when they're not at school. There are activities within the centre as well as trips to community and leisure facilities.
Our Behaviour Support Services are available for families and professionals who may like to better understand behaviours that challenge to create positive outcomes for the people they support.
In addition to the services offered, we also provide access to sports, music and the Arts throughout our programmes.
