Devon Adviceline - from Citizens Advice

Adviceline is a Citizens Advice telephone helpline tel: 03444 111 444. We provide free, independent, confidential and impartial advice on issues including benefits, debt, housing, employment and relationship or consumer enquiries. Please try finding the information or advice you need on our national website before phoning.

When you phone Adviceline we’ll spend a few minutes asking you about your issue to work out the best way we can help you. Very often we can advise there and then over the phone, or you may be invited to come and see us in person, or pointed in the right direction if there is someone better placed to help.

Please read what to bring before you call, as there are often documents it’s useful to have available. We recommend having a pen and paper to hand.

Calls cost the same as to 01 and 02 numbers and are included in any ‘free minutes’ you get from your phone provider. When the lines are closed you’ll be offered the chance to listen to recorded information or to leave a message so we can get back to you.
