Adviceline - from Citizens Advice

Adviceline is a Citizens Advice telephone helpline providing free, independent, confidential and impartial advice on issues including benefits, debt, housing, employment and relationship or consumer enquiries.

0800 144 8848

We’ll answer as soon as we can - at busy times you might need to wait up to an hour, and may find the information or advice you need on our national website, so take a look before phoning: citizensadvice.org.uk

When you phone Adviceline we’ll spend a few minutes asking you about your issue to work out the best way we can help you. Very often we can advise there and then over the phone, or you may need further support or be pointed in the right direction if there is someone better placed to help.

Please read what to bring before you call, as there are often documents it’s useful to have available. And we recommend having a pen and paper to hand!
