Project Food

Project Food, formerly know as HALFF, is a registered charity set up to help people to cook delicious healthy food for themselves and their families and to promote local food.  Our vision is to improve people’s health and wellbeing by changing the way we eat and developing essential life skills.

In ‘normal’ times we work with many disadvantaged and isolated groups in the community through providing free cookery sessions around East Devon, South Somerset and West Dorset.  During the coronavirus outbreak we have been running online cooking groups (via Zoom) instead of face to face sessions.  All are welcome, so if you would like to join us, please do email or give us a call.  We hope to restart our in person sessions soon.

We also run a fruit, vegetable and local produce shop (The Food Hub) based in Axminster for the whole community, from where we also run the charity.  All proceeds from the shop help to support our work with vulnerable and isolated people.
