Aikido weapons Aiki Jo (Aikijo)

I hope to restart classes as soon as the COVID-19 situation allows

Training in the art of the Jo, Japanese short staff as used in Aikido. More than part of a martial art, Aikijo is being taught with internal energies and principles in mind. Instructor is Richard Small 4th dan with TIA Europe. Jo and Ken (wooden sword) can be provided and practice is suitable for adults of most abilities.

Training can lead to better co-ordination, balance and power as well as open up a martially spiritual path to understanding self and the body in which you live.
Aiki weapons will include the Ken (wooden sword). The class draws on more than one style of aikido for its inspiration.

Use as self defence, health defence, martial art, exercise system or spiritual journey.

You don't have to be a martial artist to practice, but you might become one.
