WayMakers’ 1-to-1 job coaching programme is for autistic or anxious job applicants, trainees or employees who would benefit from specialist support to fulfil a role in employment.
Solution-focused, our support recognises barriers and works from a strengths-based perspective, supporting the individual and employer to reach an agreed action plan that will improve wellbeing and effectiveness at work.
Depending on the individual circumstances, we will capture the experiences of the employee and their line manager to help us unpick what might be presenting difficulties. As important as the difficulties are, so is a recognition of the employee's skills and abilities in relation to their work. We listen carefully and objectively, putting together a full picture that we can work from to ensure that everyone emerges stronger and happier.

The government's Access to Work scheme can help fund job coaching for those that are eligible.
