The Firs

The Firs is a small friendly home offering quality 24 hour support to people with Learning Disabilities in line with their choices and wishes. We aim to provide person centred support to each individual and it is therefore important that we have a diverse and highly motivated staff team, committed to encouraging and helping people maximise their abililties and opportunities at home and within the local community.

All staff working at The Firs are supported to succeed in completing a comprehensive induction programme before progressing to further training opportunties inclusive of Positive Behaviour Support, Autism Awareness and key aspects of support.

Devon County Council uses an SEND flag to list services which define themselves as suitable for children and young people with SEND. These are part of Devon's SEND Local Offer. We recommend that you contact the service provider to make sure the service is suitable for your child or young person.
