Worried about your child's behaviour or mental health? You've come to the right place!
HappyMaps is a one-stop-shop of children's mental health and wellbeing resources for parents, covering all ages from babies to young adults. Thee is also a self-help page for young people
HappyMaps has gathered reliable resources for parents and carers such as websites, books, Apps, and videos on children and young people's mental health and put them in one place for easy reference.
There are three sections:
- for pre-school (e.g. sleep or behaviour problems, could my child have ADHD?)
- primary school (e.g. bullying, anxiety, I think my child might be autistic)
- teens and young adults (e.g. self-harm, gender dysphoria, depression).
There is also general information on speaking to your GP, specialist services and how to find other support. In the local section which is South-West wide, you will find ways of finding your local Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, local counselling and parenting support groups.
Great for teachers and others who work with families too.
