RAMM holds quarterly dementia-friendly events at the museum, as well as outreach sessions in memory cafes, day centres, and residential homes.
Events held at RAMM include a museum experience such as object handling, relaxed tours of exhibitions, or art-making, and sometimes combined with music in the museum. Each visit also includes refreshments. Our dementia-friendly activities are suitable for people with mild to moderate memory problems, who must be accompanied by a friend, relative or carer. We provide illustrated information sheets to take home and carry on the conversation.
All dementia-friendly events held at the museum itself will be listed here: https://exeterramm.admit-one.eu/index.php?filter%5B%5D=SPECIAL+EVENTS&s=EXETER_RAMM
