We collect surplus sustainably grown fruit, vegetables and other fresh produce that would otherwise go to waste, and for 52 weeks of the year, deliver it to not for profit organisations across South Devon who help children, young people, vulnerable adults and people in crisis, and additionally to individual households in need.
During the pandemic, we are operating a full food box delivery scheme and offering of fresh food to charities. We are also rolling out more home cooking groups to link up individuals who are isolated. Please check our website or social media accounts for the latest information. We typically hold Pay What You Feel Community Cafes at the United Free Church in Totnes, and at the Avenue Church in Newton Abbot. We also support community events with outside catering services, and run cooking workshops for targeted groups and the general public.
We are a not for profit community interest company established in 2013 - all proceeds cover the costs of delivering thousands of meals worth per year of perfectly edible surplus food that would otherwise go to waste to good causes locally, and providing cooking courses and workshops to equip and empower.
