St Mary's Park Friends Group Higher Brixham

We are a community group who help care for St Mary's Park in Brixham, which is a great open space surrounded by big trees to have a gentle walk or more rigorous exercise on the keep fit equipment. Our park is extremely popular for dog walkers and  also has a Bowling Club, Tennis Courts and a Childrens's playground and Wildflower area.

The friends group meet up in the park weekly during fine weather and look to see what needs repairing, general gardening activities etc.

We fundraise and in the past have installed Childrens playground equipment, Outdoor keepfit equipment, various bulbs and plants. herb garden and continue to re-seed the wildflower meadow.

Volunteering can be as casual as you like and something suitable can be found to work on for all abilities but If you would like just to join us for a walk around or a chat, that is fine also.

We look forward to you visiting our park soon.
