Red One is the commercial division of Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service and have developed a bespoke Care Home Fire Safety Course.

Red One recognise the importance of staff training in ensuring a safe fire environment for care home residents, Red One has developed the new course aimed specifically at personnel employed within the care sector. This half day course covers the key elements of Fire Safety, Legislative Compliance, Risk Awareness, Basic Principles of Means of Escape and ‘Good Practice’ for Care Home Fire Safety including fire routines, evacuation and the use of firefighting equipment.

For groups of 8 or more we can arrange a course just for your own employees and this can be held at either your own premises or at our excellent training facility at Westpoint Exeter.

The course is designed in compliance with National Occupational Standards and the requirements of the Care Quality Commission.
