The Beacons Wheelchair Dancers

The Beacons Wheelchair Dancers is a local group which is part of the Wheelchair Dance Sport Association (UK) or WDSA (UK) a national governing body for wheelchair dance sport and wheelchair dance in the United Kingdom.

The group meet weekly for wheelchair dance lessons (taster sessions available), and have fun with music, starting and ending with an exercise session. Sessions are open to people who are disabled or able bodied.

Wheelchairs can be manual or powered and sessions are suitable for people that need to be assisted with other equipment. Families are actively encouraged to get involved.

Workshops and displays are provided in Torbay and other areas.

Devon County Council uses an SEND flag to list services which define themselves as suitable for children and young people with SEND. These are part of Devon's SEND Local Offer. We recommend that you contact the service provider to make sure the service is suitable for your child or young person.
