The DOVE Project - Training and Support Hub

Our Training and Support Hub offers a range of activities, with a focus on promoting community inclusion and increasing independence.  We run a variety of sessions from our base in Ivybridge and offer accredited training through the AQA Unit Award Scheme.

Our 'Personal Development Programme' is comprised of four main areas: Independent Living Skills, Retail and Work Training, The Art Studio and Community Inclusion (which incorporates voluntary work projects, sports and fitness sessions and social events).  The programme offers group based support and also includes some evening sessions.

The Hub can also provide individual or shared support to enable people to access their community and develop their skills.  We can assist with the transition into a supported living environment, working in partnership with our Plymouth based "Evolve" Programme, which provides innovative transition support for young people with learning disabilities from the age of 16.

We serve the South Hams, Plymouth and Cornwall.

We also provide residential care, supported living and domiciliary care services across Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall.

Devon County Council uses an SEND flag to list services which define themselves as suitable for children and young people with SEND. These are part of Devon's SEND Local Offer. We recommend that you contact the service provider to make sure the service is suitable for your child or young person.
