Bubble and Play Announcement

From Wednesday the 21st April 2021 One parent and toddler group will be held at Exmouth Chapel from 1.30 to 3pm. This is a booking only play group

From Thursday 22nd of  April  Bubble and play 2 will be at Scott Drive Church from 10 to 11.30.

This is in response to the need to socially distance while the vaccine rollout continues and groups reopen.

Coffee and play weekly parent and toddler group see below. This is currently suspended but we have done Bubble Play sessions for some families

Homes That Smile train and support Family Friends to work in the community with those families registered with HTS for support.

We provide courses,  with a creche that parents can access to improve their knowledge and skills. At present courses are being delivered remotely on Whatsapp.

We offer 1 to 1 support, to families involved in accessing our courses or our group, also receiving referrals from health visitors, but self-referral is possible. We are able to see people

We offer courses to families with children aged 0-11 years that help with:

  •   Parenting
  •   Money Management
  •   Home Organisation
  •   Cooking on a Budget
  •   Transportation to Appointments
  •   Creative Play

We have a weekly drop in group for parents and carers of children under five.

The courses we currently deliver are:

Parentalk (Care for the Family)  six sessions, term time

Understanding Anger ( Care for the Family), six sessions, term time

A ten week Parent College (developed by the Balsam Family Project Didcot) September to December

We create and develop links through community groups and church groups for parents and children. There are youth and family workers running online group activities and we can put you in touch with them.

Referral details

Families with children aged 0 - 11 years. (Coffee and Play is a session for under fives, but older children can join in our other activities).

We support older children in within their families, at times,  but primarily assist parents
