Barnstaple Disability Football Club - Park Community School

Barnstaple Football Club provide adapted football coaching sessions for adults with disabilities on Thursday evenings at The Park School. There is also a club for children on Thursdays.

The club provides friendly coaching sessions, suitable for male or female players age 16 and over (there is no upper age limit) and all playing standards.

New players of all standards are welcome - it does not matter the level of a players mobility, coordination or understanding.

The club currently has over twenty players, including players with learning disabilities, autism, down's syndrome and sensory and physical impairments such as cerebral palsy.

For keener players, the club also offers the chance to play in one of three disability football teams, in the Devon Ability Counts Inclusive Football League.

Devon County Council uses an SEND flag to list services which define themselves as suitable for children and young people with SEND. These are part of Devon's SEND Local Offer. We recommend that you contact the service provider to make sure the service is suitable for your child or young person.
