BPAS supports reproductive choice and health by advocating and providing high quality, affordable services to prevent unwanted pregnancies with contraception or end them by abortion. We also offer a range of other reproductive health services.
BPAS has nearly 50 years of experience of providing help to women with an unplanned pregnancy or a pregnancy they choose not to continue with. If you're pregnant and considering abortion it's important to know you’re not alone.
1 in 3 women will have an abortion by the time they are 45 years old. Every year at BPAS we help thousands of women in your position. We are the UK's leading independent provider of abortion care. As well as non-directive and impartial counselling for unplanned pregnancy and abortion treatment we also provide emergency contraception (such as the "morning after pill"), free pregnancy testing and vasectomy services.
We have over forty centres across England, Wales and Scotland - in Devon the centre is in Plymouth, there are also centres in Taunton and Dorchester. You’ll find our staff caring, non-judgemental and experienced in providing this very specialised, sensitive care to women of all ages.
Whether you’ve just found out you are pregnant or you are coming to BPAS for your treatment the woman's section of this website has information and advice about unplanned pregnancy and abortion care at BPAS.
