Devon Advocacy Consortium

The Devon Advocacy Consortium provides an independent, professional advocacy service for people over 16 in Devon.

We support people with various needs including:

  • Physical and sensory disabilities
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Mental Health
  • Those who lack capacity
  • Carers
  • Autism
  • Dementia
  • Deaf people
  • Older people
  • Young people
  • Those from Black, Ethnic Minority backgrounds

We are commissioned by Devon County Council and Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust to provide the following services across Devon and Torbay:

  • General and Health Complaints Advocacy¬†- Devon only
  • Care Act Advocacy
  • Independent Mental Health Advocacy
  • Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy
