Family Support and Childcare

Support for your family including childcare, support groups and services, and things to do.

During the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Outbreak some childcare is open to vulnerable children and children who have a parents or carer whose' work is critical to the coronavirus response (keyworkers) and who are listed on the Government list.

From 1st June 2020 childcare settings can also open for all children - more information on what steps are being taken on Childcare Choices Coronavirus page

Refine your search by using the filter Coronavirus Status to find childcarers who are open during this time.  Pinpoint is working with the childcarers to keep these details up to date.

Schools or groups of schools are also providing care for children as listed above and are opening for a phased return of children in reception, year 1 and year 6 from 1st June, please contact them directly for details.

We have a duty to ensure there is enough childcare to meet parent’s needs. Use our online form to tell us if you haven’t been able to find the childcare you need.
